A software license unlocks the full Z-Text experience for the duration of your chosen package. Lifetime packages never expire — your access is permanent.

Requires an active license: Messenger (sending messages), raw memo messages from the wallet, and saving new passwords in the blockchain password manager.

Always available (no license needed): Wallet functions (send/receive BTCZ), receiving messages, and reading previously saved passwords. Your messaging credits never expire and remain in your account regardless of your subscription status.

Each message costs just 0.00001 credits as a tiny network fee. The "possible messages" number shown on each package is calculated from this rate — your credits go incredibly far.

When you send a message, 0.0001 credits are also delivered to the person you're messaging. When they reply, that 0.0001 comes right back. So in a normal back-and-forth conversation, you're really only spending 0.00001 credits per message.

What does that mean in practice?

• Ghost (250 credits) ≈ 25 Million possible messages
• Exile (1,000 credits) ≈ 100 Million possible messages
• Shadow Clan (300,000 credits) ≈ 30 Billion possible messages

Even if you sent 100 messages every single day, your credits would last far longer than your subscription. Credits are a functional utility of the Z-Text messaging protocol. Any use of the underlying BTCZ outside of Z-Text is at your own risk.
